A very reputable Mechanical firm is hiring for a Senior Mechanical Engineer that will work hand in hand with a team engineers and act as their support staff. You will ultimately be helping with design/drafting but will also have the chance to be exposed to and work collaboratively in a cross-discipline environment, dive into helping project teams in the production of engineering drawings and project documents. They are looking a plug and play, ready to hit the ground running, individual who has a passion and strong commitment to design excellence. A creative problem solver and a quick learner. Their portfolio consists of some of the most prominent Healthcare/laboratory/research work, as well as some airport, education, retail, corporate office and other large commercial project types.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
- Attending company meetings to discuss work in progress, budget plans, and marketing plans on agreed-upon schedules.
- Maintain and develop relationships with customers and their organizations which may include project and facility managers, purchasing agents, and more.
- Determine client needs and develop an engineered solution.
- Staying up to date on all products and design criteria to adequately analyze and market the department's services for related projects.
- Identify problems, gather information, and resolve.
- Assist Service Technicians with job site problems.
- Relay prospective solutions and encourage feedback from clients and managers.
- Comply with all company operating polices, procedures, executed plans and programs.
Senior Mechanical Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree, w/ 5 years experience (College co-op programs are encouraged).
- Specific Knowledge of HVAC systems, plumbing, piping, for design, estimating, and sales.
- STRONG presentation skills and communication skills, oral and written.
- Creative problem solving and passionate about the industry and process.
- Skilled in Bluebeam, Excel, & Microsoft Suite.
